Black Garlic is made in a special fermenter and takes up to 14 days to transform a 1 Lb. batch from its already desirable state into a caramelized treat! The texture is that of a fig but the candied flavor is outstanding, and the Health Benefits of Garlic are increased by the blackening process!
The first batch we made ended up being completed eaten by us by the end of our "Movie Night"... almost 2 LB's!

Because our Black Garlic is in such High Demand we are unable to keep it in stock, but will make it to order as requested. Keep in mind that it could take several weeks to prepare due to it's lengthy fermentation time.
We prefer to use German White garlic for our Blackened Garlic because of it's larger size.
Our farm grown Garlic sells out very quickly so when we run out of our own Garlic, we next try to purchase Garlic from local organic growers and finally choose Costco Garlic, as theirs is grown in the U.S.
